5 things I learnt post Chemo
Today marks the last day I'll discuss the Big C. You see, it's over now. I can't answer the reason or why it all happened. Although I can summerise since my last (eek very long ago post) that I'm post chemo, very much lighter and working on getting the body and mind back in shape.
You see, there is no reason or why in my vocabulary with regards to the Big C. Husband simply says, 'well, you've cheated death...better make the rest of your life incredible.'So I will.
Wake up everyday and kick arse. Enjoy family and friends, make the effort to get out (the ballet the other week was beautiful), dance until your feet hurt (thanks to the Ferro's for a great part-ay), send the birthday cards, make sure your peeps know they are loved, reach out to all those communities on social media if it fulfills you. Eat well and laugh out loud. Read about everything, even if it makes you sad. Take no shit from anyone, be your own boss, make your own rules and grasp life and do everything now, dont procrastinate (I'm working on this...). For all those reading this, get ready for some flash fiction/short stories.
