So for my first post, I'd like to say thank you.

Whilst most of us complain about the driving commute to and from work everyday – myself included – there is one thing to gain from the experience and that's observing those one person-per-car travellers around me. Last week I decided to do a little experiment. It was a beautiful Monday morning. A classic winter's day, the chill in the air that made your skin all prickly. The sun shone, it's brilliant gold reflecting on the water as I drove over the bridge. I had opened my sunroof wide open and cranked up one of my get-up-and-go songs. On the top of my lungs and completely out of tune, I transformed my boring commute into a sing-song fest with all the moves of a Dance Floor Diva. As I looked around at every traffic light stop, other drivers stared with sheer fascination. What were they witnessing? Dare I say, did they think someone was actually happy? I was searching for some acknowledgement. A small hope that there is a sing-along person just like me. But no, instead I was greeted with blank emotionless stares. Even the fellow in the silver BMW in front judged me from the confines of his rear vision mirror. Not one laugh, not even a smirk.Lighten up people, its okay to sing out every now and then. The silliness of the scene I  starred in made me laugh out loud. And I laughed all the way to work. Guess who had a great day that day?So if you see someone singing along on a lovely winter's morning. Wind down your window and join in. There's no harm in laughing, right?
