Make every minute count
I was sitting on an open top bus in London January 2020 when I took this photo. At the time I didn't know what the billboard was advertising, however, the message resonated with me. LIke a call from the universe, we had stopped at a set of traffic lights and it yelled out to take a look. Was it in anticipation of what was about to come? We had heard some reports of a virus spreading in China, but in January, Australia was on fire. Literally. Naturally, our attention was focussed on what was happening back home.
I could so resonate with these words. For decades I'd been subliminally hearing it...time, once gone never comes back. Does one understand time through learned experiences? Although I don't wish to go back in time, I wish I'd done more with my time at the time! I'm aware that there is a narrative around a reset in 2020, maybe, but what did you do with that time? Has time changed you?
For some reason my 2021 Manifesto fell by the wayside, yes time got in the way. My son grew a head taller than I, my teenager turned into a man and I finished writing my book. Maybe instead of saying 'I want my time back,' perhaps it should read 'make every minute count.'
