dog

As a creature of habit, you will most likely find me taking my daily walk at the same time every weekday. I plan, it's scheduled in my online diary, friends can catch me on the phone as I am most likely listening to a podcast or song, generally, it's a green light for any future stalker. Contemplating now, perhaps, is not such a good idea. That being stated, there are others like me, who walk the same path around our area, albeit opposite, which, is another OCD moment on my behalf because I tend to walk the same path at the same time in the same direction.Unfortunately, I'm not the type to say 'Hi' to a complete stranger all the time, I used to be about twenty years ago and quite reveled in that fact, however, now and thanks to COVID, I've tuned in more to my internal side and I am simply happy just to observe. Hence the whole reason for this blog. But I wish I said 'Hi' to these two fellows pictured above. The first time I saw the two walkers I immediately assumed that the fellow on the right was out with baby in tow. A proud dad getting some exercise and some fresh air. As I passed by I had a quiet chuckle at the furry face, pink tongue, paws hanging over the side of the sling. Damn, should have had my camera ready to go! It did bring a wide smile to my face, no judgment, just a little laugh. The second and third times were the same, and what I also noted, was that we seemed to cross at the same stretch of the path at the same time. Another creature of habit perhaps? So when I planned my next walk and if the laws of chance were in my favor, I would be passing them once again.Tada! I was correct. With the camera in hand, I couldn't help myself. What I love about this moment in time is that the two men were completely immersed in their own conversation. I'm assuming that somewhere along the path, the fur baby may have had a bit of a walk, or perhaps the dog was of an age where it couldn't walk. Who knows? But it was like an everyday occurrence. I am not a dog owner, so I can't comment on precisely why this burly fellow would be carrying a small dog in a sling, but hey, it made for a nice picture.#observation #walkinthepark #doglover #giggle #smile
